Cort Beyler vs Armandus Lescotteem

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Stade Justin Peeters, Brussels,  taking place on 18/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cort Long Bomb Beyler (18(14) - 0 - 1) who hails from Zurich, Switzerland and Armandus Lescotteem(11 - 7(3) - 2) from Antwerp, Belgium.  Both Beyler and Lescotteem weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Forrest Marques, and the three ringside judges are Saber de Lisle, Vernon Bobet and Beau Filipacchi.  

Round 1: 

Beyler gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Beyler holds on to his opponent.  Beyler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Beyler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Beyler lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beyler walks Lescotteem down, trapping him on the ropes.  Beyler lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Beyler clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Beyler pushes his forearm into Lescotteem's face.  The ref breaks Beyler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Beyler lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lescotteem is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Beyler sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Beyler steps inside.  Lescotteem attempts to land a right uppercut, but Beyler blocks the shot and counters with a WICKED left uppercut.  LESCOTTEEM IS HURT!  Lescotteem quickly recovers. 
Beyler hits home with a stinging left hook.  Beyler tries to land a left hook, but Lescotteem slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Lescotteem tries to step out of his opponents range.  Beyler sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Beyler gets on the inside and drives a right hook into Lescotteem's body.  Beyler clinches his opponent.  Beyler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Beyler and breaks the clinch.  
Beyler lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Beyler advances into close range.  Beyler sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beyler advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Beyler sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beyler steps inside.  Beyler digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  Beyler attempts to land a left hook, but Lescotteem blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lescotteem quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beyler lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Beyler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Beyler backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Lescotteem steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Lescotteem lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Beyler gets on the inside.  Lescotteem quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Beyler throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Beyler ties up his opponent.  Beyler uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lescotteem behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Beyler.  
Beyler steps inside and lands a solid right hook.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lescotteem's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Lescotteem's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Beyler closes the distance.  Lescotteem throws a left hook, but Beyler holds on to his opponent.  Beyler is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Beyler steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Beyler lands two left hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Beyler clinches his opponent.  Lescotteem leans on his opponent using all his weight. Beyler uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lescotteem behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Beyler is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Beyler lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS LESCOTTEEM DOWN!  The ref does not give Lescotteem the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Beyler!
