Alfonso Mercedes vs Jair Loria

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Ponce Tapia, Ponce,  taking place on 27/08/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Mercedes (20(2) - 9(1) - 2) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Jair Loria(9 - 2 - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Mercedes weighed in at 146 pounds, while Loria weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ramiro Moyano, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Miguel, Beltran Correira and Esteban Labrada.
