Vasili Kovalik vs Timofei Grushikhin

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwabi Promotions promoted show at Samara Makhnutin, Samara,  taking place on 28/08/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Russia-Samara Oblast Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vasili Kovalik (22 - 13(1) - 4) who hails from Samara, Russia and Timofei Grushikhin(17 - 12 - 2) from Tolyatti, Russia.  Both Kovalik and Grushikhin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fedar Berezutski, and the three ringside judges are Aleksei Stepushkin, Gennady Prudnikov and Fedor Ahn.  

Round 1: 

Grushikhin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.
