John MacMasters vs Sammy Ruan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 02/08/2031:

Clearly AI USA-Utah have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Utah Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John MacMasters (2 - 18(2) - 5) who hails from Provo, USA and Sammy Ruan(5(1) - 0) from Provo, USA.  MacMasters weighed in at 130 pounds, while Ruan weighed in at 129 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Probert, and the three ringside judges are Charlie McNeely, Arran Doyle and Michael Faul.  

Round 1: 

Ruan gets on the inside.  Ruan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Ruan is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook.  Ruan clinches his opponent.  Ruan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ruan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
