Sezni Belisle vs Steven Vermeulen

Boxing Daily Report from the Wigwam Promotions promoted show at Stade Port Autonome, Dakar,  taking place on 06/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sezni Belisle (22(19) - 0) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Steven Vermeulen(20 - 5(1)) from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.  Belisle weighed in at 168 pounds, while Vermeulen weighed in at 167 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Turiau Millot, and the three ringside judges are Alain Savane, Aramis Gassama and Channing Seigner.  

Round 1: 

Belisle gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Vermeulen quickly recovers. 
Belisle gets on the inside and lands a sharp right hook.  
Belisle hits the target with a hard jab.  
Belisle closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Belisle whips in a mean right hook to his opponents ribs.  VERMEULEN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Vermeulen almost instantly recovers. 
Belisle lands a left hook to the head followed by a jab to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Vermeulen recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Belisle steps inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
Vermeulen is on target with a jab.  
Belisle advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left uppercut.  
Belisle hits home with a right hook.  
Vermeulen hits home with a right hook.  
Vermeulen lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Belisle lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  Belisle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Belisle throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Belisle advances into close range.  Vermeulen lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Belisle hits home with a forceful cross.  VERMEULEN IS HURT!  
Belisle senses Vermeulen is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Belisle lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, left hook and a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING VERMEULEN DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  Vermeulen now seems to have his senses back.  
Vermeulen throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Belisle advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Belisle hits home with a solid left hook.  
Belisle is looking to close the distance and connects with a left uppercut.  
Belisle gets on the inside and digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Belisle manouvers Vermeulen onto the ropes.  Belisle is on target with a left uppercut to Vermeulen's body.  
Belisle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Vermeulen throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Vermeulen pivots to the side of his opponent.  Belisle lands a solid jab.  
Belisle gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Belisle tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a powerful cross.  VERMEULEN IS HURT!  Vermeulen quickly recovers. 
Belisle pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Belisle lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Vermeulen's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Vermeulen's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Belisle tries to land a cross, but Vermeulen sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Vermeulen gets on the inside.  Belisle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Vermeulen quickly recovers. 
Belisle lands a right hook.  
Belisle throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Belisle attempts to land a jab, but Vermeulen slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Belisle advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Belisle connects with a HUGE cross.  VERMEULEN IS HURT!  Belisle tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Vermeulen could be stopped here, if Belisle can find the right shot!  Belisle lands two straights followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND VERMEULEN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Belisle lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by two straights to the head, AND DROPS VERMEULEN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Belisle!
