Antwan Drennan vs John Semple

Boxing Daily Report from the Awere Promotions promoted show at Michael Twaddell Gym, Lexington,  taking place on 02/09/2031:

Clearly Awere Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Kentucky Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antwan Drennan (11 - 21 - 3) who hails from Lexington, USA and John Semple(4 - 23 - 4) from Louisville, USA.  Both Drennan and Semple weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Harkins, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Carnegie, Hugh Days and Roger Crombie.  

Round 1: 

Semple digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Semple forces Drennan to retreat onto the ropes.  Drennan finds the target with a jab.
