John Meldrum vs Dave Russell

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyimah Promotions promoted show at Chris Battaglia Gym, Newark,  taking place on 31/08/2031:

Clearly Gyimah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New Jersey Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Meldrum (6 - 7 - 2) who hails from Jersey City, USA and Dave Russell(4 - 0) from Paterson, USA.  Both Meldrum and Russell weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Dalton, and the three ringside judges are Lee Bowell, Ian Leaper and Ian Leaper.  

Round 1:
