Xaverius Mario vs Xalvador Coto

Boxing Daily Report from the Sabah Promotions promoted show at Jair Minier Gym, San Miguel de Tucuman,  taking place on 14/08/2031:

Clearly Sabah Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Argentina-Tucaman Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaverius Mario (7 - 7 - 1) who hails from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina and Xalvador Coto(17 - 11(3) - 1 - 1(NC)) from San Miguel de Tucuman, Argentina.  Mario weighed in at 123 pounds and 3 ounces, while Coto weighed in at 122 pounds.    As Mario came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Quinto Palomo, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Cardiel, Jaguar Pompa and Nemesio Ozuna.  

Round 1: 

Coto steps inside and drives a solid left uppercut into Mario's body.  Coto clinches his opponent.  Coto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Coto lands a left hook.  
Coto gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  Coto clinches his opponent.  Coto is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coto advances into close range and is on target with a stinging right hook.  Coto holds on to his opponent.  Coto pushes his forearm into Mario's face.  The ref breaks Coto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mario quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Coto hits home with a right uppercut.  
Mario drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Coto digs in a left uppercut to Mario's ribs.  Coto tries to land a cross, but Mario sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Coto lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Coto drives a left hook into Mario's liver.  
Coto is on target with a left hook.  Coto clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Coto pushes his forearm into Mario's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Coto about fouling.  
Coto is on target with a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Coto hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Coto throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Coto clinches his opponent.  Coto is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Coto is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Coto steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Coto is on target with a right uppercut to Mario's ribcage.  
Coto digs in a right hook to Mario's body.  
Mario throws a left hook, but Coto ties up his opponent.  Coto uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mario's kidney. 
Coto pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mario tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with an overhand right.  
Coto lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Coto advances into close range and lands a right uppercut.

Coto is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Mario switches the action to the outside.  Coto lands a cross.  
Coto lands a left uppercut.  Coto wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mario dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Coto lands a left hook.  
Coto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Coto steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Coto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mario throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Coto holds on to his opponent.  Coto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coto walks Mario into the corner.  Coto sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coto lands a firm left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mario's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Mario's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
