Ian Shortt vs Chris Alexander

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Cairns Storer, Cairns,  taking place on 13/09/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Shortt (5 - 8 - 4) who hails from Cairns, Australia and Chris Alexander(10 - 13 - 3) from Gold Coast, Australia.  Shortt weighed in at 121 pounds And 12 ounces, while Alexander weighed in at 121 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richie Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Mike Tripi, Robert Reekie and Darryl Maletin.

Shortt walks Alexander down, trapping him on the ropes.  Alexander lands a right hook.
