Mortimer Phalle vs Circinus Gaudin

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Palais des Sports Large Hall, Mulhouse,  taking place on 20/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mortimer Ramrod Phalle (9(7) - 0) who hails from Port-de-Paix, Haiti and Circinus Gaudin(9 - 5 - 1) from Toulon, France.  Both Phalle and Gaudin weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waltier Lux, and the three ringside judges are Boyce Mimoun, Demont Beaubien and Barbabe Claude.  

Round 1: 

Phalle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Phalle closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Gaudin's ribs.  Phalle clinches his opponent.  Phalle pushes his forearm into Gaudin's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gaudin is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Phalle is looking to close the distance.  Phalle sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
Phalle hits home with a firm right hook.  
Phalle is looking to close the distance.  Phalle pivots to the left of his opponent.  Gaudin throws a right hook, but Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle pushes his forearm into Gaudin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Phalle about fouling.  
Phalle steps inside and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Phalle lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Phalle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaudin behind the head. 
Phalle advances into close range and manages to force Gaudin into the corner.  Gaudin throws a right hook, but Phalle clinches his opponent.  Phalle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Phalle digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Phalle gets on the inside and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Phalle lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Phalle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Phalle lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Phalle attempts to land a right hook, but Gaudin blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Phalle is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Gaudin steps away from his opponent and connects with an overhand right.  Gaudin tries to land a jab, but Phalle blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Gaudin throws a right hook, but Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle leans on his opponent using all his weight. Phalle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gaudin behind the head. 
Gaudin tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Phalle steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Gaudin throws a left hook, but Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Phalle's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Phalle drives a solid left uppercut into Gaudin's body.  
Phalle lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS GAUDIN TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Gaudin quickly recovers. 
Phalle digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Phalle throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Phalle holds on to his opponent.  Phalle leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.

Phalle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Phalle clinches his opponent.  Phalle leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Phalle knows Gaudin is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Phalle whips in a big left uppercut to Gaudin's body.  DOWN GOES GAUDIN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Gaudin has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Phalle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Phalle stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Phalle lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND GAUDIN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  The count reaches 10, but Gaudin is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Phalle!
