Venacio Favela vs Santiago Montellano

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Carmona, Guayaquil,  taking place on 16/09/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Venacio Favela (10(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Santiago Montellano(22 - 2(1)) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Favela and Montellano weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Tamez, and the three ringside judges are Roman Parrilla, Carlos Remedios and Santiago Andrada.
