Kiki Montero vs Leo Normand

Boxing Daily Report from the Forficula Promotion promoted show at Jonathan Club, Los Angeles,  taking place on 12/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Kiki Montero (0 - 5 - 6) who hails from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia and Leo Normand(1 - 2 - 1) from San Francisco, USA.  Both Montero and Normand weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Gaddie, and the three ringside judges are John Dickie, Joey Catherwood and George Stackpoole.  

Round 1: 

Normand is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Montero lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Montero tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.

Normand digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Montero dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Montero tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with an overhand right.  
Montero switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Normand lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Montero tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand right.
