Adalgar Pflieger vs Edel Scheffer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia promoted show at Dusseldorf Jopp, Dusseldorf,  taking place on 18/09/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Adalgar Pflieger (29(7) - 1 - 1) who hails from Cologne, Germany and Edel Scheffer(14 - 8(1) - 7) from Dusseldorf, Germany.  Both Pflieger and Scheffer weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ernie Daniels, and the three ringside judges are Roger Achatz, Rambert Kruis and Alhwin Saurer.  

Round 1: 

Pflieger lands a jab to his opponents body.  
Scheffer attempts to land a right hook, but Pflieger blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Pflieger feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Pflieger lands a ramrod jab.  
Scheffer gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Pflieger clinches his opponent.  Pflieger pushes his forearm into Scheffer's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pflieger switches the action to the outside and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Pflieger tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Pflieger lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Scheffer is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Pflieger holds on to his opponent.  Pflieger leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pflieger lands a jab.  
Pflieger lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Scheffer advances into close range.  Pflieger lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Pflieger is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  
Scheffer walks Pflieger onto the ropes.  Scheffer pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Pflieger is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pflieger feints a cross, and then lands with a stiff jab.  
Scheffer gets on the inside.  Pflieger lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Pflieger ties up his opponent.  Pflieger is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Pflieger.  
Pflieger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.  
Pflieger steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Pflieger switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Pflieger lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Pflieger lands a jab, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Pflieger lands a cross to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Scheffer's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Scheffer gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Scheffer throws a right hook, but Pflieger holds on to his opponent.  Pflieger throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Pflieger and breaks the clinch.  
Pflieger connects with a left uppercut.  
Pflieger feints a cross, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Scheffer closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Pflieger sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Pflieger tries to keep the action at long range.  Pflieger feints a left, and then lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Scheffer is looking to close the distance.  Pflieger sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Pflieger lands a left uppercut, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Pflieger!
