Franco Salmeron vs Vince Roa

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 05/09/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Franco Salmeron (7(4) - 2 - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Vince Roa(6 - 13 - 7) from Jacksonville, USA.  Both Salmeron and Roa weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Thomason, and the three ringside judges are David Evans, Khalid Shaikh and Juan Espin.  

Round 1: 

Salmeron is looking to close the distance.  Salmeron backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Roa steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Salmeron lands a stinging left hook.  Salmeron holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Salmeron pushes his forearm into Roa's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Salmeron hits home with a solid left hook.  Salmeron clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Salmeron pushes his forearm into Roa's face.  The referee warns Salmeron and breaks the clinch.  
Salmeron lands a left hook.

Salmeron lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Salmeron ties up his opponent.  Salmeron tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Roa behind the head. As they grapple, Roa pushes his forearm into Salmeron's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Roa.  
Salmeron lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Salmeron lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Salmeron advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Salmeron is on target with a left hook.  
Roa throws a right hook, but Salmeron ties up his opponent.  Salmeron leans on his opponent using all his weight. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Salmeron to stop holding.  
Salmeron lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Roa dabs at his face checking for damage.

Salmeron is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Salmeron steps inside.  You can sense Roa is getting frustrated in there.   He throws a low uppercut...that landed south of the border! The ref halts the action and sends Salmeron to the neutral corner.    He tells Roa to stop fouling or face a points deduction.  
Salmeron lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Salmeron lands a left uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.
