Dimos Barreda vs Malvolio Aceves

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Camaguey promoted show at Cuba-Camaguey Gym, Camaguey,  taking place on 09/10/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Cuba Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dimos Barreda (25(8) - 6(4)) who hails from Holguin, Cuba and Malvolio Aceves(17 - 14(3) - 1) from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba.  Both Barreda and Aceves weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Vinas, and the three ringside judges are Quin Betances, Francisco Lara and Joaquin Mandujano.  

Round 1: 

Barreda gets on the inside.  Barreda pivots to the left of his opponent.  Barreda is on target with a left hook.  Barreda holds on to his opponent.  Barreda pushes his forearm into Aceves's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Barreda to stop fouling.  
Barreda feints a left hook, but Aceves is not fooled and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Barreda is looking to close the distance.  Barreda steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Aceves tries to tag Barreda on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Barreda closes the distance.  Aceves throws a right hook, but Barreda clinches his opponent.  Barreda uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Aceves's kidney. The ref breaks Barreda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barreda steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Aceves quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Aceves throws a left hook, but Barreda holds on to his opponent.  Barreda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Barreda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Barreda lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Aceves pivots to the side of his opponent.  Aceves tries to land a right hook, but Barreda parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Barreda advances into close range.  Aceves pivots to the side of his opponent.  Aceves throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Barreda lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Aceves pivots from in front of his opponent.  Barreda lands with a stinging jab.  
Barreda switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Aceves slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Barreda's body.  
Barreda is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Barreda lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Barreda attempts to land a right hook, but Aceves parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Barreda connects with a nasty right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ACEVES WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Barreda clinches his opponent.  Barreda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Aceves quickly recovers.

Barreda steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Barreda clinches his opponent.  Barreda leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Barreda's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Aceves sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Aceves throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Barreda drives a left hook into Aceves's liver.  Barreda ties up his opponent.  Barreda leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Aceves sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Barreda lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Aceves sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barreda lands a left uppercut, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.
