Diego Bernardez vs Juan Zendejas

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Futsal Gimnasio BN Arena, San Jose,  taking place on 13/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Costa Rica Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Repretel Channel 11, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Diego Bernardez (12(10) - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Juan Zendejas(6 - 4) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Bernardez and Zendejas weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Marrufo, and the three ringside judges are Oihane Clavijo, Agapetus Magdaleno and Oro Serbin.  

Round 1: 

Bernardez lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Zendejas switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Bernardez lands a forceful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE ZENDEJAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Bernardez advances into close range.  Bernardez knows Zendejas is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Bernardez lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, KNOCKING ZENDEJAS DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!
