Ovidio Lira vs Francisco Bosquez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Nuevo Leon promoted show at Monterrey Landin, Monterrey,  taking place on 22/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Mexico-Nuevo Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ovidio Lira (11 - 12 - 4) who hails from Guadalupe, Mexico and Francisco Bosquez(16(3) - 0) from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico.  Both Lira and Bosquez weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Bilbao, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Capellan, Juan Velasquez and Joaquin Andino.  

Round 1: 

Bosquez gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Lira is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross to Bosquez's body.  
Lira gets on the inside.  Bosquez hits home with a left hook.  Bosquez attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lira slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Bosquez lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Bosquez gets on the inside.  Lira tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Bosquez is on target with a cross.  
Lira is looking to close the distance.  Bosquez lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bosquez lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lira throws a right hook, but Bosquez clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Bosquez pushes his forearm into Lira's face.  The referee warns Bosquez and breaks the clinch.  Lira now seems to have got his legs back.

Bosquez steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Lira tries to tag Bosquez on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Bosquez SLAMS a mean left hook into his opponents face.  LIRA IS HURT!  Bosquez clinches his opponent.  Lira leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Bosquez tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  Lira almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Bosquez is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Lira's ribs.  
Bosquez advances into close range.  Lira hits home with a left hook.  
Bosquez closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Bosquez steps inside.  Lira quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Bosquez lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lira's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Lira's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Bosquez lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bosquez throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Bosquez clinches his opponent.  Bosquez uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lira behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.

Bosquez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Bosquez holds on to his opponent.  Bosquez uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Lira's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bosquez throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Bosquez ties up his opponent.  Bosquez is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Bosquez's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lira feints a jab, but Bosquez does not fall for it and lands with a firm left hook.

Bosquez lands a HUGE right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LIRA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Lira steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Bosquez could be enough to finish Lira!  Bosquez is on target with a HUGE right hook.  LIRA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Bosquez advances into close range.  Bosquez lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND LIRA IS DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Bosquez!
