Rex Sim vs Sid Herron

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at LIV Nightclub, Miami,  taking place on 27/09/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Sim (10(7) - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Yuma, USA and Sid Herron(6 - 7(1) - 2) from Huntington Beach, USA.  Both Sim and Herron weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mirando, and the three ringside judges are Glynn Mescall, Dale Salvatierra and Hugh Guffy.  

Round 1: 

Herron lands a left hook.  
Sim digs in a powerful right hook to Herron's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE HERRON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!

Sim pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sim throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim pushes his forearm into Herron's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sim about fouling.

Sim crashes a hurtful left hook to Herron's body.  HERRON IS HURT!  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Herron recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Sim drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Sim digs in a firm right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Herron throws a left hook, but Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Herron's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sim to stop fouling.  
Sim throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Sim clinches his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Sim's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Herron closes the distance.  Sim digs in a left hook to Herron's body.  
Sim drives a solid right hook into Herron's body.  
Sim is on target with a firm left uppercut to Herron's ribs.  
Sim is on target with a solid right hook to Herron's ribs.  Sim ties up his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Sim lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Sim holds on to his opponent.  Sim leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
