Peter Kogo vs Mike Muya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Jepleting, Kisumu,  taking place on 24/09/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Peter Kogo (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Mike Muya(5(1) - 1) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Kogo weighed in at 125 pounds and 11 ounces, while Muya weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Babla, and the three ringside judges are Alen Mwamzandi, Paul Babla and Udenwa Lalang.  

Round 1: 

Muya pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muya advances into close range.  Kogo throws a left hook, but Muya ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Muya pushes his forearm into Kogo's face.  The ref breaks Muya's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Muya advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Muya clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Muya pushes his forearm into Kogo's face.  The referee warns Muya and breaks the clinch.
