Brown Akpososo vs Mark Igwe

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kano Akpososo, Kano,  taking place on 26/09/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brown Akpososo (12 - 9(1) - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Mark Igwe(4 - 14) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Akpososo and Igwe weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Azubuike Umeasiegbu, and the three ringside judges are Izunna Obiefuna, Hope Ukuh and Rashid Nazimuddin.  

Round 1: 

Igwe digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Igwe closes the distance and manages to force Akpososo onto the ropes.  Igwe connects with a left hook.  
Akpososo advances into close range and attempts to land a right hook, but Igwe sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
