Matt Ruhumbika vs Brin Mayombo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at Kampala Kayiira, Kampala,  taking place on 02/09/2031:

Clearly AI Uganda-Kampala District have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt Ruhumbika (20(2) - 9 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Brin Mayombo(19(1) - 8(2) - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Ruhumbika weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces, while Mayombo weighed in at 154 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Mayombo came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Mark Hamya, and the three ringside judges are Dai Birungi, Jay Mwesige and La Vonn Ruparelia.
