Alfonso Gaona vs Carlos Bolivar

Boxing Daily Report from the Shakalongo Promotions promoted show at Barquisimeto Melchior, Barquisimeto,  taking place on 01/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela-Lara Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alfonso Gaona (15(5) - 0) who hails from Barquisimeto, Venezuela and Carlos Bolivar(11 - 9 - 5) from Barquisimeto, Venezuela.  Gaona weighed in at 126 pounds, while Bolivar weighed in at 125 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Montel Miera, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Ante, Rafael Buelna and Hernan Pecha.
