Darryl Wright vs Tom MacDiarmid

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Foxwoods Theatre, New Haven,  taking place on 04/10/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Darryl Wright (19 - 9(1) - 3) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Tom MacDiarmid(24(2) - 3(3) - 1) from Norfolk, USA.  Wright weighed in at 104 pounds and 13 ounces, while MacDiarmid weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Cowans, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carse, John Kippen and Darryl Stephen.  

Round 1: 

MacDiarmid advances into close range and connects with a right hook.
