Chris Somerville vs Leeroy Lobban

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkrumah Promotions promoted show at Patrick Roller Gym, Albuquerque,  taking place on 02/10/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-New Mexico Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Somerville (10 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Albuquerque, USA and Leeroy Lobban(9 - 9 - 5) from Albuquerque, USA.  Both Somerville and Lobban weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Gemmill, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Prior, Paul Sword and Gus Maddix.  

Round 1: 

Lobban is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Somerville throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
