Ben Ahearne vs Alastair Burrell

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Festival Hall, Melbourne,  taking place on 25/10/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ben Ahearne (10(6) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Alastair Burrell(16(2) - 5(4)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Ahearne and Burrell weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Donn, and the three ringside judges are John Lewis, Paul Elmasyan and Aaron Hilling.  

Round 1: 

Burrell snaps his opponents head back with a ramrod jab.  Burrell throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
