Nils Blaauw vs Paul Rowan

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 18/10/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nils Blaauw (17(1) - 5(1)) who hails from Mamelodi, South Africa and Paul Rowan(10(2) - 10(2)) from Perth, Australia.  Both Blaauw and Rowan weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bakwamba, and the three ringside judges are Peter Oosthuizen, Voshon Adams and Luvolwethu Motupa.  

Round 1: 

Blaauw is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Blaauw tries to keep the action at long range.  Blaauw lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, DROPPING ROWAN TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blaauw!
