Rex Raza vs Jevonte Mutumbami

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Mbare Netball Complex, Harare,  taking place on 06/10/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Zimbabwe Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rex Raza (12 - 3(3) - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Jevonte Mutumbami(10(8) - 0 - 1) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Raza weighed in at 122 pounds, while Mutumbami weighed in at 121 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michael Chipeta, and the three ringside judges are Peabo Chikwava, John Sword and Jasper Nengomasha.  

Round 1:

Mutumbami advances into close range and drives a weighty right hook into his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE RAZA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Raza almost instantly recovers.

Raza tries to keep the action at long range and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Raza throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

Mutumbami is looking to close the distance.  Raza lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Mutumbami is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Mutumbami crashes a hurtful left uppercut to Raza's body.  RAZA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Mutumbami lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mutumbami steps to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Mutumbami could be enough to finish Raza!  Mutumbami lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS RAZA TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Mutumbami crashes a spiteful right hook to Raza's ribcage.  RAZA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Mutumbami closes the distance.  Mutumbami lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS RAZA DOWN!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Mutumbami!
