Venacio Lazcano vs Elias Posadas

Boxing Daily Report from the Los Moreco Promotions promoted show at Wyndham Manta Convection centre, Manta,  taking place on 06/11/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Lazcano (8(4) - 0) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Elias Posadas(11 - 8 - 1) from Bogota, Colombia.  Both Lazcano and Posadas weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Contrera, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Malo, Gervasio Arroyo and Xaverius Malo.  

Round 1: 

Lazcano pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lazcano connects with a right hook.  Lazcano holds on to his opponent.  Lazcano uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Posadas behind the head. Lazcano leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lazcano tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Posadas behind the head. Lazcano is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Lazcano to stop fouling.  
Lazcano lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Lazcano tries to land a left uppercut, but Posadas parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Posadas is on target with a right hook.  
Lazcano is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Posadas's body.  
Lazcano lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Posadas tries to land a cross, but Lazcano blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lazcano is looking to close the distance.  Lazcano steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Posadas steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Lazcano tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Lazcano gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Lazcano clinches his opponent.  Posadas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lazcano lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Lazcano wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Posadas dabs at his face checking for damage.

Lazcano lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  Lazcano ties up his opponent.  Lazcano leans on his opponent using all his weight. Posadas uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Lazcano behind the head.

Lazcano lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Posadas throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Posadas attempts to land a jab, but Lazcano slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lazcano steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Posadas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lazcano lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Lazcano is on target with a right hook.  
Lazcano lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lazcano dabs at his face checking for damage.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Posadas.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.

Lazcano senses Posadas is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Lazcano lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body.  The winner by KO is Lazcano!
