Jiro Kubota vs Jiro Miura

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 11/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jiro Kubota (8 - 7 - 8 - 1(NC)) who hails from Saitama, Japan and Jiro Miura(13 - 10 - 2) from Kawagoe, Japan.  Kubota weighed in at 114 pounds And 13 ounces, while Miura weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Nitta, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Fuse, Hideki Machida and Yuichi Mihara.  

Round 1: 

Miura lands a left hook.  
Kubota quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Miura lands a left uppercut.  
Kubota pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Miura gets on the inside.  Kubota backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Miura is whaling away with hooks, but Kubota keeps his defence tight.

Kubota tries to step out of his opponents range.  Miura sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Miura throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Miura steps inside and hits home with a right uppercut.  Miura ties up his opponent.  Kubota is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Miura pushes his forearm into Kubota's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miura about fouling.
