Hisoka Niwa vs Dai Maki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at Nundwe Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 14/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Hokkaido Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisoka Niwa (24 - 5(2)) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Dai Maki(7 - 4 - 4) from Sapporo, Japan.  Niwa weighed in at 122 pounds, while Maki weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Nori Itoh, Aki Mizuno and Hisoka Tani.  

Round 1: 

Niwa steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Niwa sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Maki throws a right hook, but Niwa holds on to his opponent.  Niwa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Niwa to stop fouling.
