Adam Muhumusa vs John Damji

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at MTN Arena, Kampala,  taking place on 30/10/2031:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NBS, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Adam Muhumusa (14(11) - 1(1)) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and John Damji(8 - 6 - 8) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Muhumusa and Damji weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Okal Nyakairima, and the three ringside judges are Aftab Majid, Shontae Batuma and Roger Rohrer.  

Round 1: 

Muhumusa gets on the inside and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Muhumusa ties up his opponent.  Muhumusa is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Muhumusa.  
Damji throws a left hook, but Muhumusa clinches his opponent.  Muhumusa leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Muhumusa advances into close range.  Damji throws a right hook, but Muhumusa clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Damji pushes his forearm into Muhumusa's face.  The ref breaks Muhumusa's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Muhumusa is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Muhumusa pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Muhumusa closes the distance.  Damji throws a right hook, but Muhumusa ties up his opponent.  Muhumusa is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Muhumusa lands a cross.  
Damji steps away from his opponent.  Muhumusa strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Muhumusa steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Muhumusa forces Damji to retreat into a corner.  Muhumusa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Muhumusa drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.

Muhumusa lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Damji is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Muhumusa closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Damji recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Muhumusa lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Muhumusa lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Damji tries to land a right hook, but Muhumusa blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
