Mark Gethin vs Glynn Aikins

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Wellington promoted show at Stuart Stealey Gym, Wellington,  taking place on 16/10/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Wellington Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Gethin (9 - 7 - 6) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Glynn Aikins(11 - 12 - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Gethin weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Aikins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Ruskin, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Laurie, Sean Stackpole and Gareth Page.  

Round 1: 

Aikins pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gethin attempts to land a cross, but Aikins parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Gethin's ribcage.
