Yasushi Iwamoto vs Yoshi Niwa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Hitoshi Ito Gym, Osaka,  taking place on 23/10/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Osaka Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Iwamoto (4 - 17 - 2) who hails from Takatsuki, Japan and Yoshi Niwa(6 - 8 - 2) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Iwamoto and Niwa weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daichi Koga, and the three ringside judges are Aoi Ohno, Naoki Koyama and Michi Kinoshita.  

Round 1: 

Niwa sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Niwa steps inside and manages to force Iwamoto into the corner.  Iwamoto lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Niwa cuts off the ring, trapping Iwamoto in the corner.  Niwa lands a cross.  
Niwa steps inside.  Niwa pivots to the side of his opponent.  Iwamoto digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Niwa attempts to land a left hook, but Iwamoto blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
