Borya Pulkstens vs John Newburn

Boxing Daily Report from the Pendragon Inc promoted show at Skonto Hall, Riga,  taking place on 01/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Borya Pulkstens (12(1) - 1) who hails from Riga, Latvia and John Newburn(9 - 6 - 1) from Centennial, USA.  Both Pulkstens and Newburn weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Evgeny Shmits, and the three ringside judges are Aleksei Ubags, Pyotr Rutitis and Arseni Sausaismarcis.  

Round 1: 

Pulkstens lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pulkstens lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Pulkstens gets on the inside.  Pulkstens pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  As Pulkstens tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Newburn dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pulkstens lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Newburn is on target with a right hook.  
Pulkstens advances into close range and lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.
