Michael Swanston vs Dave Gilmour

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at XL Center, Hartford,  taking place on 30/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michael Swanston (22(13) - 0) who hails from Colorado Springs, USA and Dave Gilmour(21(16) - 9(6)) from Cape Coral, USA.  Both Swanston and Gilmour weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hilton, and the three ringside judges are John Kippen, Ethan Boliver and Andy Swaney.  

Round 1: 

Gilmour advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Swanston throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Swanston tries to keep the action at long range and lands a spiteful jab.  Swanston tries to land a cross, but Gilmour blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
