Drik Ballegheer vs Coos Van der Strate

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Netherlands-North Holland promoted show at Amsterdam Zwaene, Amsterdam,  taking place on 25/10/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Netherlands-North Holland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Drik Ballegheer (10(7) - 2) who hails from Amsterdam, Netherlands and Coos Van der Strate(12 - 15(3) - 1) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both Ballegheer and Van der Strate weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tone de Beule, and the three ringside judges are Arthur Parydaen, Tist Ghyhoet and Adriaan Van de Ven.  

Round 1: 

Van der Strate steps to the outside.  Ballegheer feints a cross, fooling Van der Strate into launching a right uppercut counter.  Ballegheer is waiting for the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.

Ballegheer closes the distance.  Ballegheer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ballegheer lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ballegheer ties up his opponent.  Ballegheer pushes his forearm into Van der Strate's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ballegheer about fouling.  
Ballegheer pivots to the right of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ballegheer tries to land a jab, but Van der Strate slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Ballegheer gets on the inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Ballegheer pivots to the side of his opponent.  Van der Strate throws a left hook, but Ballegheer clinches his opponent. Ballegheer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Ballegheer's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ballegheer closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  Ballegheer holds on to his opponent.  Ballegheer leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ballegheer's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ballegheer lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Ballegheer ties up his opponent.  Ballegheer tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Van der Strate behind the head.

Ballegheer pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Ballegheer is on target with a WICKED right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE VAN DER STRATE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Van der Strate almost instantly gets his legs back.

Ballegheer senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Van der Strate and just needs the right shot.  Ballegheer lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING VAN DER STRATE TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.

Van der Strate doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Ballegheer!
