Karan Gaud vs Sam Cranston

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Longshoreman's Hall, San Francisco,  taking place on 30/10/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-California Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Karan Gaud (27(19) - 1) who hails from Los Angeles, USA and Sam Cranston(12 - 6(1) - 4) from Santa Clarita, USA.  Gaud weighed in at 112 pounds, while Cranston weighed in at 111 pounds and 1 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Antwan Smillie, and the three ringside judges are Bart Craw, Alec Lochridge and Ian Pitcairn.  

Round 1: 

Gaud steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gaud lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gaud is on target with a sharp left hook.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  Gaud pushes his forearm into Cranston's face.  The ref breaks Gaud's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gaud gets on the inside and manages to force Cranston into the corner.  Gaud pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gaud attempts to land a right hook, but Cranston blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gaud lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Gaud digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud pushes his forearm into Cranston's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gaud.  
Gaud lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  Gaud is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gaud about fouling.  
Gaud lands with a sharp jab.  
Gaud advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Cranston quickly recovers. 
Cranston sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gaud is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Gaud closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Gaud clinches his opponent.  Gaud is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gaud.  
Gaud lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Gaud ties up his opponent.  Gaud is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Gaud pushes his forearm into Cranston's face.  The ref stops the action and sends Cranston to the neutral corner.  He takes Gaud's arm and signals to each judge that a point should be deducted!  
Cranston pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gaud lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Cranston recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Cranston manouvers Gaud onto the ropes.  Gaud lands a WICKED right hook.  CRANSTON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Cranston almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Cranston pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gaud is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Cranston's body.  
Gaud gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gaud uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cranston behind the head. Gaud tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cranston behind the head. 
Cranston steps away from his opponent.  Gaud strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Gaud closes the distance and drives a stinging left hook into Cranston's body.  
Gaud lands a firm left uppercut.  
Gaud is on target with a jab.  
Gaud steps inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Gaud holds on to his opponent.  Gaud leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gaud gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Cranston throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Gaud sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a sharp left uppercut.  
Gaud walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gaud hits home with a right uppercut.  
Cranston is looking to keep his distance.  Gaud lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Gaud steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gaud gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Gaud steps inside and hits home with a firm right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cranston's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Cranston's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Cranston's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Gaud throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Cranston steps away from his opponent.  Gaud feints a cross, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Gaud is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cranston throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Gaud ties up his opponent.  Gaud is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Gaud hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cranston steps away from his opponent.  Gaud lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Gaud lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Gaud could be enough to force the stoppage!  Gaud lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS CRANSTON TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Gaud!
