Alik Shipulin vs Kolya Karpovstev

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonsam Promotions promoted show at Koldan Adamovich Gym, Nizhnekamsk,  taking place on 30/10/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia-Tatarstan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alik Shipulin (15 - 17(2) - 3) who hails from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia and Kolya Karpovstev(8 - 5(1) - 2) from Kazan, Russia.  Shipulin weighed in at 159 pounds and 6 ounces, while Karpovstev weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lazar Pinegin, and the three ringside judges are Marlen Bryzgalov, Dmitri Kochkin and Konstantin Vlasov.  

Round 1: 

Karpovstev gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
