Roman Lucero vs Max Still

Boxing Daily Report from the Leprechaun Promotions promoted show at Shane Sullivan Gym, Belfast,  taking place on 03/10/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Roman Shotgun Lucero (38(38) - 3(2) - 1) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Max Still(6 - 3 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Lucero and Still weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Hastie, and the three ringside judges are Paul Gallagher, Clint Guild and Paul Sheridan.  

Round 1: 

Lucero lands a jab to the head, a right hook to the body and a cross to the head.  
Lucero steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Lucero hits home with a solid left hook.  
Lucero lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Still pivots to the left of his opponent.  Lucero is on target with a sharp jab.  
Lucero hits home with a sharp left hook.  Lucero attempts to land a left hook, but Still blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lucero gets on the inside and is on target with a solid right hook to Still's body.  Lucero holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Lucero pushes his forearm into Still's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Lucero about fouling.  Lucero throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Still sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Lucero lands a stiff jab.  
Lucero advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Lucero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Still steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  Still tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  STILL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Lucero pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  

Lucero advances into close range.  Lucero wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Still dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Lucero attempts to land a right uppercut, but Still blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lucero drives a left uppercut into Still's body.  
Lucero tries to land a right hook, but Still blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lucero lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Still finds the target with a jab.  
Lucero lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lucero gets on the inside.  Lucero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Lucero hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Lucero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a big right hook.  STILL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Still recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Still is looking to keep his distance.  Still feints a jab, but Lucero ignores the feint and responds with a solid cross.  
Lucero steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Still's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Lucero sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Lucero advances into close range.  Still connects with a right hook.  
Lucero sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Lucero is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lucero lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Still almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lucero advances into close range and slams a spiteful left hook into his opponents body.  STILL IS HURT!  Still recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Still pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lucero lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lucero digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Lucero pivots to the left of his opponent and whips in a mean right hook to Still's body.  STILL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Still quickly recovers. 
Lucero lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Lucero steps inside and crashes a spiteful right hook to his opponents body.  STILL IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Lucero senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Lucero lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS STILL TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Lucero!
