John Fauls vs Antwan Gray

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bahamas-New Providence promoted show at Nassau Duguid, Nassau,  taking place on 11/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Fauls (5(4) - 2) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Antwan Gray(4 - 1) from Nassau, Bahamas.  Both Fauls and Gray weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Hutcheon, and the three ringside judges are Rex Annand, Joshua Montrose and Oscar Muirhead.  

Round 1: 

Fauls drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Gray tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land an overhand left, but Fauls sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fauls gets on the inside.  Fauls pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Fauls lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Fauls closes the distance.  Gray attempts to land a right hook, but Fauls sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Fauls is on target with a right hook to Gray's ribcage.  Fauls holds on to his opponent.  Fauls pushes his forearm into Gray's face.  The referee warns Fauls and breaks the clinch.  
Fauls lands a stiff jab.  
Fauls is on target with a solid left hook to Gray's body.  
Fauls closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fauls steps inside.  Fauls lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gray dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Fauls finds the target with a jab.

Fauls gets on the inside.  Gray throws a left hook, but Fauls clinches his opponent.  Fauls is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Fauls's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gray's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Gray's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Fauls advances into close range.  Gray throws a left hook, but Fauls holds on to his opponent.  Fauls is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Fauls pushes his forearm into Gray's face.  The referee warns Fauls and breaks the clinch.

Fauls lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Gray feints a right, and then hits home with a sharp jab.  
Fauls steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Fauls walks Gray into a neutral corner.  Fauls lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gray has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused a slight cut above.  
Fauls lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fauls lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

It looks like Gray has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
