Joseph Kernell vs Lee Gray

Boxing Daily Report from the Maple Promotion promoted show at Montreal Candeloro, Montreal,  taking place on 07/11/2031:

Clearly Maple Promotion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Joseph Kernell (4 - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Lee Gray(4 - 25(2) - 2) from Saskatoon, Canada.  Kernell weighed in at 175 pounds, while Gray weighed in at 174 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Smith, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Henry, Erec Adore and Nicholas Prior.  

Round 1: 

Kernell is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook.

Kernell advances into close range.  Gray throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.

Kernell sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As Gray tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kernell dabs at his face checking for damage.

Kernell pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Gray steps inside and walks his opponent into a corner.  Kernell connects with a left uppercut.  Kernell ties up his opponent.  Kernell tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gray's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kernell to stop fouling.  
Gray throws a left hook, but Kernell clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Gray tries to land a left hook, but Kernell parries the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.
