Siraj Karayev vs Kamal Abdullaev

Boxing Daily Report from the Kamwendo Promotions promoted show at Toshkent Sadvakasoff, Toshkent,  taking place on 02/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uzbekistan Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Siraj Karayev (27(21) - 17(17)) who hails from Toshkent, Uzbekistan and Kamal Abdullaev(14 - 4 - 3) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Karayev and Abdullaev weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Muntazir Agakhanov, and the three ringside judges are Isaak Akbarov, Ashraf Dzhevanshir and Khosrov Arablinskij.  

Round 1: 

Abdullaev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Karayev hits the target with a stinging jab.  Karayev attempts to land a right hook, but Abdullaev blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Karayev's body.  
Karayev lands a spiteful jab.  
Abdullaev attempts to land a jab, but Karayev slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Abdullaev manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Abdullaev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abdullaev tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Karayev tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a sharp jab.  
Karayev digs in a solid right hook to Abdullaev's body.  
Karayev switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Karayev sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abdullaev throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Karayev steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Karayev attempts to land a jab, but Abdullaev sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Karayev is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the body.  
Karayev is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Karayev feints a cross, and then lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.

Abdullaev forces Karayev to retreat onto the ropes.  Abdullaev feints a cross, and then tries to land a jab, but Karayev blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abdullaev pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging jab.  
Karayev finds the target with a jab.  
Karayev lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Karayev DETONATES a hurtful cross on his opponents face.  ABDULLAEV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Abdullaev manages to force Karayev onto the ropes.  Karayev stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Karayev lands two left uppercuts followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ABDULLAEV!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  It looks like Abdullaev has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Karayev strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Karayev's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Abdullaev's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Abdullaev's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Abdullaev steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Karayev lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  Karayev attempts to land a cross, but Abdullaev sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Karayev switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Karayev is looking to keep his distance and lands a big overhand left.  ABDULLAEV IS HURT!  
Abdullaev manouvers Karayev onto the ropes.  Karayev thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Abdullaev away.  Karayev lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, DROPPING ABDULLAEV TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Karayev connects with a mean right hook.  ABDULLAEV IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  It looks like Abdullaev has now recovered from that shot earlier.
