Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Pa Metal Sheet Workers Union Hall, Philadelphia,  taking place on 01/11/2031:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rex Rennie (6 - 0) who hails from Macon, USA and Michael Copland(2 - 0) from Greensboro, USA.  Both Rennie and Copland weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Blood, and the three ringside judges are Mark Munro, Elliot Gambini and John Brydon.

Copland throws a right hook, but Rennie clinches his opponent.  Rennie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Copland lands a right hook.  
Rennie lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Rennie ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Rennie pushes his forearm into Copland's face.  The ref breaks Rennie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rennie.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
