Urvano Espana vs Diego Cordero

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonchaka Promotions promoted show at Batangas City Paglingayen, Batangas City,  taking place on 17/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Philippines-Bulacan Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Urvano Espana (9(7) - 1) who hails from Santa Maria, Philippines and Diego Cordero(7 - 10 - 4) from San Jose del Monte, Philippines.  Both Espana and Cordero weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nemesio Castrillo, and the three ringside judges are Andy Manguino, Jay Pinedo and Ora Catacataca.  

Round 1: 

Espana is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Espana holds on to his opponent.  Espana throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Espana's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Espana gets on the inside.  Cordero pivots to the right of his opponent.  Cordero throws a left hook, but Espana ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Espana pushes his forearm into Cordero's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Espana digs in a right hook to Cordero's body.  
Cordero tries to step out of his opponents range.  Espana lands a stiff jab.  
Espana advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Espana clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Espana pushes his forearm into Cordero's face.  The referee warns Espana and breaks the clinch.

Cordero is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a jab.  
Espana lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.
