Docus Meuleman vs Juan Tamayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Palau Sant Jordi, Barcelona,  taking place on 15/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dr. Docus Meuleman (20(15) - 0) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Juan Tamayo(22 - 8 - 5) from Zaragoza, Spain.  Meuleman weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tamayo weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Xaverius Reyes, and the three ringside judges are Alvino Nepomuceno, Nemesio Contrera and Pablo Zevallos.  

Round 1: 

Meuleman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Tamayo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.

Tamayo is looking to close the distance.  Meuleman is on target with a solid left hook.  Meuleman holds on to his opponent.  Meuleman pushes his forearm into Tamayo's face.  The referee warns Meuleman and breaks the clinch.  
Meuleman drives a left hook into Tamayo's ribs.  
Meuleman drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Meuleman lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Meuleman lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Meuleman connects with an overhand right.  
Meuleman tries to keep the action at long range and hits the target with a sharp jab.

Tamayo forces Meuleman to retreat onto the ropes.  Meuleman lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Meuleman holds on to his opponent.  Tamayo pushes his forearm into Meuleman's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tamayo.
