Ian Bride vs Will Saunders

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at OPCC Courtyard, Overland Park,  taking place on 21/11/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Ian Bride (7 - 0) who hails from Saint Paul, USA and Will Saunders(1 - 0 - 1) from San Diego, USA.  Both Bride and Saunders weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Geoff Glasgow, and the three ringside judges are Mark Darby, Henry Eddington and Max Cadden.  

Round 1: 

Bride closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Bride gets on the inside.  Saunders throws a right hook, but Bride holds on to his opponent.  Bride pushes his forearm into Saunders's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Bride connects with a stinging left hook.  Bride clinches his opponent.  Bride is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Bride hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.

Bride walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bride lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
