Justin Sloss vs Eteka Makawe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Maurice, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/10/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Sloss (4 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Eteka Makawe(15 - 6 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Sloss and Makawe weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kahorere Keno, and the three ringside judges are Harry Callison, Dave Sprouse and Ikei Kahu.
