Leon Bateman vs Hayden Elliott

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Townsville RSL Stadium, Townsville,  taking place on 13/12/2031:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Oceania Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are The Victorian Mauler Leon Bateman (13(7) - 3) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Hayden Elliott(24(9) - 8(3) - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Bateman weighed in at 117 pounds And 10 ounces, while Elliott weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jordan Traill, and the three ringside judges are Barry Forbes, Sammy Feamster and Mark Elgin.
