Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 27/12/2031:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Corey Rodgerson (5(4) - 0) who hails from Markham, Canada and Danny Walker(16 - 11 - 2) from Toronto, Canada.  Rodgerson weighed in at 147 pounds, while Walker weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gower Paille, and the three ringside judges are Carvell Brame, Varocher Painchaud and Ferrand Pradon.  

Round 1: 

Rodgerson hits home with a firm overhand right.

Walker manages to force Rodgerson onto the ropes.  Walker drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Rodgerson tries to land a right uppercut, but Walker sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Walker gets on the inside and walks Rodgerson onto the ropes.  Rodgerson drives a left uppercut into Walker's ribs.  Rodgerson holds on to his opponent.  Rodgerson leans on his opponent using all his weight. Rodgerson is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Rodgerson about fouling.  
Rodgerson pivots to the left of his opponent.  Rodgerson throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Rodgerson lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Walker steps inside.  Walker sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rodgerson lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Rodgerson steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Rodgerson lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Rodgerson is on target with an overhand right.  
Walker advances into close range.  Rodgerson hits home with a solid right hook.  
Rodgerson finds the target with a jab.  
Rodgerson lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND WALKER IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rodgerson's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Walker's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Walker's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Rodgerson tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Walker closes the distance.  Rodgerson connects with a left hook.  Rodgerson clinches his opponent.  Rodgerson is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Walker hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks Rodgerson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rodgerson attempts to land a jab, but Walker slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Rodgerson switches the action to the outside and hits the target with a sharp jab.

Rodgerson steps to the outside and finds the target with a solid jab.  
Walker manouvers Rodgerson onto the ropes.  Walker sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Rodgerson drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Rodgerson tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rodgerson is looking to keep the action on the outside and DETONATES a MASSIVE cross on his opponents face.  WALKER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Walker almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rodgerson feints a cross, and then lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Rodgerson lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Walker almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rodgerson is on target with a jab.  
Rodgerson lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Walker gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Rodgerson lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Walker quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rodgerson lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
