Balder Varn vs Adrian Arndt

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo,  taking place on 03/01/2032:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Balder Varn (34(22) - 1(1)) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Adrian Arndt(4(1) - 8(2) - 3) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Varn and Arndt weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roscoe Watne, and the three ringside judges are Magne Asleson, Unni Horne and Ulfred Dahling.  

Round 1: 

Varn lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Arndt quickly recovers. 
Arndt steps inside.  Arndt sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Varn lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Varn holds on to his opponent.  Varn is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Varn stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Arndt attempts to land a cross, but Varn slips the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Varn gets on the inside.  Arndt throws a left uppercut, but Varn holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Varn pushes his forearm into Arndt's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Varn lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Varn ties up his opponent.  Varn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Varn connects with a left uppercut.  
Varn lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Varn lands a left uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.  Varn holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Varn pushes his forearm into Arndt's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Arndt is on target with a cross.  
Arndt finds the target with a jab.  Arndt tries to land a cross, but Varn sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Varn advances into close range and is on target with a solid left hook.  Varn ties up his opponent.  Varn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Varn tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Varn steps inside.  Varn quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Varn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Varn holds on to his opponent.  Varn leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Varn pushes his forearm into Arndt's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Varn to stop fouling.  
Varn lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Varn walks Arndt into the blue corner.  Some sustained pressure from Varn could be enough to finish Arndt!  Varn lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ARNDT!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Arndt now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Varn lands a right uppercut.  
Varn digs in a left hook to Arndt's liver.  Varn ties up his opponent.  Varn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Varn sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Varn steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Varn holds on to his opponent.  Varn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Varn's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Varn lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Varn lands a jab.  
Varn closes the distance and lands a firm left hook.  Varn clinches his opponent.  Varn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Varn attempts to land a right hook, but Arndt parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Varn lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Varn lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Varn ties up his opponent.  Varn is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Varn pushes his forearm into Arndt's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Varn about fouling.  
Varn hits home with a right hook.  
Varn is on target with a SAVAGE right uppercut.  ARNDT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Varn holds on to his opponent.  Varn leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Varn hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. Arndt quickly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Arndt's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Arndt's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Arndt's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Arndt's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Varn lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Varn finds the target with a jab.  
Varn lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Arndt recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Varn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Varn walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Varn connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Varn lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Varn lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Arndt almost instantly gets his legs back.

Varn lands a FIERCE right hook.  ARNDT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE ISNT GOING TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Varn!
